Tell the two preferences apart
Hindi audio with English text, English audio with Hindi text and original Japanese audio with English text are three different requests. Decide which combination you want before selecting an edition.
Read the actual track menu
Use the application playing the video to inspect audio and subtitles. A country setting on this catalogue does not change those tracks, and a Hindi web page does not mean the film has a Hindi soundtrack.
For anime and Korean series
Check the episode itself when a dub matters. A programme-level description may not settle the language options for each chapter. Keep season, episode and any movie subtitle with the name when comparing editions.
Make subtitles readable from your seat
Where supported, adjust the player’s text size, edge or background controls. Test a bright scene as well as a darker one. The setting that looks clear at arm’s length on a phone may be too small across a room.
Captions can contain more than dialogue
Depending on the track, captions can identify speakers and important sounds. Inspect the available language and caption labels rather than expecting every subtitle selection to contain the same information.
When text is missing or out of time
First check whether the intended track is selected for the intended episode. If the problem continues, keep the exact title, application and symptom for its support guidance. Website sorting and My List cannot adjust another app’s subtitle timing.
